Although possessing some outstanding architectural monuments, Segovia is possibly better known in Spain as the capital of Castilian cuisine. If you only eat suckling pig once during your stay in Spain, then you must have it here. Having digested your food, take a stroll around the leafy Plaza Mayor and some of the quieter adjoining streets. However you won't be able to, nor will you want to, miss Segovia's three major monuments: the Roman aqueduct, the cathedral and the Alcázar. |
