Private Cooking Classes

Over the years Madrid & Beyond has been fortunate to develop close collaborations with many prestigious and popular chefs all over Spain. Whether in Madrid, Andalusia, the Basque Country, Valencia or Catalunya, this is a fantastic opportunity to indulge in fabulous culinary experiences in their restaurants, private homes, gastronomic societies or even their country manors.

Of course, cooking classes are always much more than just “classes”, with a visit to local markets beforehand, an introduction to Spanish and regional cuisine and a mostly hands-on approach to the preparation of meals. It’s a great way to spend the morning or afternoon, with an emphasis on enjoying excellent food and wines in good company.

The emphasis is generally on fresh and natural products, whether for traditional recipes and/or more contemporary cuisine. Nonetheless, the classes are private so can be catered to individual tastes and preferences. Naturally, the lunches or dinners are always delicious and you’ve helped prepare the individual dishes!
